Town of Oyster Bay:
Town Of Oyster Bay- Contract Award to replace all 28,000 street lights with Cree LED luminaires. The pictures to left will show the before and after shots of one of the streets in the town. Replacing 100 percent of the existing HPS street lights within the Town will save over $2,000,000 annually on electric bill and maintenance costs. With the Cree LEDway street fixtures, cities and towns don’t have to sacrifice anything for beautiful, energy-efficient light that benefits the residents in the Town of Oyster Bay.
Town of Smithtown:
Town of Smithtown- First town on Long Island to switch to LED street lights. Best LED Group has an ongoing contract to retrofit all 13,000 street lights. Over 4,500 installed to date.
NYPD ONE POLICE PLAZA:
For this project Best LED Group provided all lighting surveys, photometric layouts and specifications to replace existing inefficient HPS, metal halide and quartz fixtures in the auditorium, pressrooms, court rooms and parking garages with highly efficient Cree and Bruk LED fixtures.This was one of several NYC NYPA administered HELP projects- Interior & exterior projects of over 5,000 various LED fixtures including NYPD One Police Plaza and various NYC public school & hospital retrofits.
Town of Hempstead:
Best LED Group is pleased to have been recently awarded a contract to provide over 50,000 LED street lights for the Town of Hempstead. Fixtures include Cree street lights, LED post top retrofit kits, LED Wall Pack & Flood lights, and long life 20 year LED compatible photocells.
